Bloom Within

Emotion cards

Why we send a card with every piece

Most jewellery cards are written at the end. The piece is designed, the box is chosen, and a few words are added before everything is sent away.

Bloom Within began differently.

Before we knew what each collection would look like, we knew what it needed to do: help someone recognise, honour and carry a feeling. The card was the first place where that intention could live.

Bloom Within grew from a simple practice of noticing emotion—not fixing it or explaining it away, but allowing it to be felt. As children, we are often given stories, pictures and colours to help us understand what is happening inside us. As adults, we may have more words, yet there are still moments when none of them feel quite right.

A new beginning can be difficult to describe. So can courage, motherhood, love, healing or the quiet steadiness of friendship.

Sometimes a small object can carry what a sentence cannot.

That is why every Bloom Within piece is accompanied by an Emotion Card. It is not a receipt, a care instruction or a promotional insert. It is the emotional heart of the piece.

On the front, you will find the name of the emotion, its flower and a short story. On the back, there is space for something more personal: this bloom belongs to, a date, from, for, and a little note.

Those blank spaces matter.

If the piece is a gift, the card helps the giver say something emotionally precise without needing a perfect speech. If it is chosen for yourself, the card can mark a date, a beginning or a chapter you want to remember.

It does not tell you what your jewellery must mean. It leaves room for your own story to complete it.

Every card follows the same quiet structure, while its flower, colour and words change with the emotion it carries. Over time, the cards can be kept together—small markers of the feelings, memories and chapters that have shaped your life.

Together, they become an Emotional Garden that is personal, growing and entirely your own.

The card came before the jewellery because meaning came before decoration. The piece gives the feeling a form. The card gives it a language.

And sometimes, that is enough to say what we could not say alone.
